CastApp Rules & Guidelines

1. Eligibility

Must be 16+ to enter target achieved and be elgigable for monthly give aways.

All catches submitted for competitions must be caught within UK waters and in the area/method stated (north or south / boat or shore).

Subscribed members are eligible for monthly giveaways and competitions.

2. Catch Submissions

Photo Requirements for Catch Submissions

To enter a fish into the competition, you must provide two clear photos:

Angler Photo – A photo of the member holding the fish.

Weight Verification – A photo showing the fish on the scales, with the weight clearly visible.

Scales must be zeroed before weighing.
If using a weigh sling, you must tare the scales with the sling before adding the fish.
Do not manually deduct the weight of the sling after weighing.

Submission Timing

Only fish caught within the relevant month can be submitted for that month’s competition.
CastApp entries must be submitted on the same day as the catch.
If the fish is caught before midnight, your entry must be submitted before midnight to be valid.

Each submission must include:

Species
Weight
Date and location

Each fish can only be submitted once (no double submissions to FOTM and Targets Achieved).

3. Regional Rules

The UK is split into North and South using the River Dee (West) and Gibraltar Point (East).

North: Scotland, Northern Ireland, NE, NW, Yorkshire & Humber

South: Wales, SW, SE, South Coast, East of England

4. Giveaways

We will be giving back to our subscribed members every month – no catch needed

Winners picked at random

Prizes vary monthly and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash

5. Badge Unlocking / Targets Achieved

Each species has target weights by region and fishing method (shore/boat)

Junior members get separate targets and badges

6. Community Conduct

No abuse, spam, or inappropriate content on the news feed
Positive vibes only help each other out and share the love of fishing
Admins reserve the right to remove content or ban users for violations
Your membership fee gives you full access to all premium features of CastApp the monthly giveaway is simply an added bonus for our subscribed users.

So please no cheating, no photo editing, and no bending the rules. It ruins the experience for everyone. We trust our users to be honest, respectful, and fair.
